Our Client, a leading international bank, is hiring for a reputed organisation to support their technology teams in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, global environment and contribute to the delivery of critical IT services.
What you ll be doing- Take end-to-end ownership of Area COO activities, including financial, workforce, and third-party/vendor management.
- Support the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, developing business cases and validating benefits for transformation projects.
- Lead and develop the global business management team within the Area.
- Manage a significant annual operating plan across approximately 65 countries, identifying and delivering savings to meet targets.
- Oversee workforce planning, requisitions, off-boarding, and rate setting, ensuring accurate billing and cost recovery.
- Perform vendor management tasks, including risk assessment, performance review, negotiations, and procurement processes.
- Handle purchase-to-pay activities, including purchase order creation, spend approvals, and invoice processing.
- Provide financial reporting and management information to support decision-making.
- Extensive experience in business management within financial services or technology functions.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including cost management, budgeting, and accounting practices.
- Proven ability to develop business cases and manage multi-million dollar global programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
- Familiarity with financial management tools such as Oracle Fusion or Apptio is preferred.
- Experience working within diverse, global teams and managing complex projects.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and working under pressure.
- Relevant professional qualifications in finance or business management are advantageous.
