Our Client, a leading international bank, is hiring for a reputed organisation to support their technology teams in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic, global environment and contribute to the delivery of critical IT services.

What you ll be doing
  • Take end-to-end ownership of Area COO activities, including financial, workforce, and third-party/vendor management.
  • Support the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, developing business cases and validating benefits for transformation projects.
  • Lead and develop the global business management team within the Area.
  • Manage a significant annual operating plan across approximately 65 countries, identifying and delivering savings to meet targets.
  • Oversee workforce planning, requisitions, off-boarding, and rate setting, ensuring accurate billing and cost recovery.
  • Perform vendor management tasks, including risk assessment, performance review, negotiations, and procurement processes.
  • Handle purchase-to-pay activities, including purchase order creation, spend approvals, and invoice processing.
  • Provide financial reporting and management information to support decision-making.
What you ll bring
  • Extensive experience in business management within financial services or technology functions.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including cost management, budgeting, and accounting practices.
  • Proven ability to develop business cases and manage multi-million dollar global programs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.
  • Familiarity with financial management tools such as Oracle Fusion or Apptio is preferred.
  • Experience working within diverse, global teams and managing complex projects.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and working under pressure.
Required Education & Certifications
  • Relevant professional qualifications in finance or business management are advantageous.
