Senior Governance Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Governance Manager to join a high-profile public sector project. This senior role reports directly to the Company Secretary
, requiring strong governance expertise and the ability to operate effectively across complex organisational structures.

• Provide governance leadership and ensure compliance with corporate governance frameworks in a public sector environment.
• Support the development and implementation of ESGT practices and robust control frameworks.
• Interpret and apply governance requirements within the Framework Document and Development Agreement
  .
• Work collaboratively across organisational functions, ensuring alignment with business processes and governance standards.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to deliver governance solutions that meet regulatory and organisational objectives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outputs under minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of ESGT principles and corporate governance frameworks in a public sector setting.
• Knowledge of Managing Public Money
  , Freedom of Information
  , and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR).
• Familiarity with the National Audit Office and its powers is advantageous.

• A governance professional with experience in complex, high-profile programmes.
• Comfortable navigating regulatory frameworks and delivering governance solutions in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret governance documentation and agreements.
