Leadership & Team Development: Lead a team of Internal Sales Executives, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to maximise individual and team performance. Conduct regular 1-to-1 meetings to review performance, set objectives, and identify areas for development.
Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and drive the execution of the overall internal sales strategy, ensuring alignment with Avena Group’s business goals. Monitor performance against KPIs and sales targets, providing real‑time feedback and strategy adjustments as needed.
Sales Performance Monitoring: Regularly track sales metrics such as new business generation, customer acquisition, and contract value. Analyse team data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Training & Development: Oversee the continuous development of the team through formal and informal training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and market trends. Ensure the team is equipped with necessary skills to meet evolving business demands.
Sales Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Skills/Attributes Required- Sales Expertise: Strong background in B2B sales, with a deep understanding of sales processes, relationship building, and business development.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate strategies and motivate team members.
- Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to address challenges and implement solutions efficiently.
- Results‑Oriented: A focus on driving measurable results, ensuring team performance meets or exceeds expectations.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in an internal or business‑to‑business sales environment.
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams to achieve sales targets.
- Achieve team-wide sales targets, including the generation of new business and the renewal of existing contracts.
- Maintain and improve individual and team KPIs, such as meeting booking, proposal generation, and conversion rates.
