Our Client is seeking an ambitious and proactive Buyer to join their Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced procurement or supply chain professional to play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials that keep their manufacturing operations running efficiently.
Working closely with suppliers and internal departments including Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality and Finance, you'll be responsible for managing supplier performance, maintaining stock availability and supporting the delivery of customer requirements in a fast-paced production environment.

What You'll Be Doing
✔ Managing a portfolio of suppliers and driving supplier performance
✔ Negotiating pricing and reviewing annual supplier agreements
✔ Building strong supplier relationships to support production requirements
✔ Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimum stock availability
✔ Managing purchase orders and rescheduling requirements through the MRP system
✔ Resolving supplier delivery issues and implementing corrective actions
✔ Monitoring and reporting on key supplier KPIs including OTIF and RFT
✔ Conducting supplier visits and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
✔ Maintaining accurate procurement and supplier data within ERP systems
✔ Collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Logistics, Engineering, Quality and Commercial teams
✔ Providing delivery updates and professional customer communication when required
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Previous experience within Procurement, Purchasing or Supply Chain
* Manufacturing industry experience
* Experience using ERP and MRP systems
* Strong supplier management and negotiation skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel
* Ability to work effectively across multiple departments
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Aerospace or Aviation industry experience
