Asbestos Ancillary Scaffolding Supervisor

Rowland Scaffold Co Ltd is seeking an experienced Asbestos Ancillary Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee scaffolding works supporting licensed asbestos removal projects.

This is a senior, site-based supervisory role for someone who clearly understands the boundary between licensed asbestos works and ancillary scaffolding activities, and who can manage teams safely and decisively on high-risk, sensitive sites.

• Supervision of scaffolding works carried out in support of licensed asbestos removal
• Working strictly to the licensed asbestos contractor’s Plan of Work (PoW)
• Managing sequencing, exclusion zones, and safe access arrangements
• Liaison with licensed asbestos supervisors, site management, and clients
• Authority to stop works immediately where asbestos controls are compromised
• Ensuring RAMS, daily inspections, and site records are completed correctly
• Leading scaffold gangs and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship
• CISRS Advanced Scaffolder
• Proven experience supervising asbestos ancillary scaffolding works
• Clear understanding of the division of responsibilities between the scaffolding contractor and the licensed asbestos contractor
• SMSTS or SSSTS
• Demonstrable competence working on live asbestos projects in accordance with licensed Plans of Work
• Strong leadership, judgement, and communication skills

Work is predominantly regional; however, occasional projects may be further afield depending on client and programme requirements.
