Whatyou'll be doing
- Establish and maintain the adoptions schedule, including the legacy portfolio and incorporate upcoming adoption projects.
- Flag and monitor bond overrun risks and set strategies to resolve and remove overrun projects with direction and agreement of the Technical Manager and Director.
- Manage communication with all stakeholders in the adoption process for highways, drainage, open space, utilities and any other relevant adoption/transfer process.
- Co‑ordinate internal or external resources to provide the required information as agreed with the adopting authorities.
- Understand and interpret drawings, schedules, testing, reports and surveys to ensure accurate and timely transfer of information.
- Attend, facilitate and chair where necessary any meetings, site visits, reviews, testing, road safety audits with the relevant authorities.
- Proven experience of working within Residential property or house builder sector.
- A construction‑related qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3+ in Site Supervision or Construction Management) is desirable.
- Familiarity with NHBC standards, building regulations, and health & safety legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with the site team, contractors, and customers.
- Ability to organise and prioritise, and manage time constraints effectively.
- Attention to detail to ensure high‑quality finishes and compliance with specifications.
- IT literacy, including use of Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site operatives effectively.
