The position offers a high level of autonomy, allowing the successful candidate to make a real impact while working collaboratively within an inclusive and supportive team environment.

The role is hybrid, with a mix of home/office working and site presence. This is a fast-paced and progressive environment where individuals are trusted to take ownership of their work, with a strong emphasis on work/life balance and professional satisfaction.

  • Assist in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.
  • Support the development of procurement programmes.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts.
  • Submit monthly applications for payment and valuation reports.

  • Value and authorise subcontractor payments.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to agree project specifications and requirements.

  • Monitor contract progress and report changes impacting cost or programme.
  • Assist with the control of contract budgets.
About the Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the Social Housing sector, ideally across multiple contracts. Experience with responsive repairs is a strong advantage.

A solid understanding of JCT and Measured Term Contracts is essential, along with experience of Price per Property (PPP) models. Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high level of IT proficiency (particularly MS Office) are required.
