Building Surveyor

We are working with a respected housing association in Sheffield who are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to support their team on a 3-month contract
, focusing on void property surveys
.

This is a hands‑on role, ideal for a surveyor who can hit the ground running and help bring empty homes back into use efficiently and safely.

• Carry out condition surveys on void residential properties
• Specify and schedule remedial works to bring properties up to lettable standard
• Prepare reports, work specifications and cost estimates
• Liaise with contractors and internal teams to agree scopes of work
• Ensure compliance with housing standards, H&S and statutory requirements

• Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within social housing
• Able to work independently and manage a busy workload
• Excellent report writing and communication skills

• 3-month contract with immediate start potential
• Opportunity to work with a well-established housing association
• Sheffield-based role with local portfolio
