Senior Building Surveyor — St Austell, Cornwall (Hybrid)

Salary: £60,000+

An award‑winning, multidisciplinary construction consultancy – recognised as one of the fastest‑growing in the UK – are looking for a Senior Building Surveyor to take ownership of their Building Surveying function in Cornwall, working alongside a Director and playing a key role in shaping the local team.

This is a genuinely varied role covering the full range of professional and project services: leading on project inception, design and delivery, contract administration, employer’s agent duties, building surveys, condition reports, defect analysis, dilapidations, and party wall matters across both public and private sector clients. You’ll be the primary point of contact for clients in the region, with real autonomy and a clear leadership remit.

Sitting within a wider multi‑discipline team of architects, engineers, planners, and quantity surveyors, the work has a depth and variety you don’t always find in a standalone building surveying practice.

MRICS qualified with solid consultancy‑side experience across professional and project building surveying. You’ll be confident managing client relationships, delivering technically complex instructions, and supporting junior staff. A full UK driving licence is required.

£60,000+ salary, hybrid working, up to 27 days holiday increasing with length of service, private healthcare, an enhanced pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, and regular CPD. A genuinely supportive team culture with real progression opportunities.
