Assistant Buyer

Location: Nottingham / Midlands

Salary: Circa £35,000

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Assistant Buyer to join a well established residential developer.

Working within an experienced procurement team, you'll support the purchasing of materials and subcontract packages for residential developments while gaining valuable experience and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Support procurement of construction materials
Assist with supplier and subcontractor management
Raise purchase orders and maintain procurement records
Liaise with technical, commercial and site teams
Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules
Ensure procurement processes are followed

Requirements

Previous residential house building experience
Experience using COINS or similar procurement software
Understanding of construction, technical and design processes
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Positive and proactive approach to work
