About the RoleThe Electrical Estimator will prepare accurate, competitive tenders for electrical building services projects, from smaller works to larger packages.
Responsibilities include:- Prepare estimates, take-offs and cost plans from drawings and specifications.
- Review tender documents and identify project risks.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Work with design and delivery teams to identify cost savings.
- Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings.
- Manage tender deadlines and maintain clear pricing records.
- Keep labour rates and material prices up to date.
- Hand successful tenders over to the project delivery team.
