Videographer and Content Editor

Full-time Role: working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Negotiable DOE

Start date: Immediate start.

Location: On-site role based in Chapeltown Sheffield. Must be willing to travel monthly to other premises in the Peak District for team meetings, and to travel for filming needs.

Chimp Management is a company founded by Consultant Psychiatrist and best-selling author Professor Steve Peters. Our purpose is to help people to understand how their mind works and improve their psychological wellbeing and performance. We work across multiple public and private sector organisations as well as the world of elite sport.

We’re looking for a creative, hands‑on videographer and editor to join our small in‑house team at Chimp Management Ltd. You’ll be responsible for filming, lighting, sound and editing, creating engaging content that brings our work to life across digital platforms, courses, and events.

• Filming and editing a wide range of video content (including social media channels, monthly video content for The Troop, promotional and marketing videos, talking heads interviews, On‑Demand Courses, supporting other ongoing projects with video production)
• Setting up and managing multi‑camera shoots, lighting, and sound
• Taking the lead on post‑production using Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Working with the team to plan and deliver creative video ideas
• Ensuring videos are exported and delivered in the right formats, aspect ratios and specs for each platform

We need someone who is confident across the full production process from setting up lights and cameras, to editing and delivering final content. You should be comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a small creative team.

• Demonstrable experience of filming and editing processes
• Experience setting up and managing lighting and audio for video
• Skilled in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Good practical knowledge of videography
• Solid understanding of different formats, lengths, and crops for digital platforms
• A strong portfolio of video work including but not limited to Social Media Content, Promotional and Marketing videos.

• Organised and reliable with good time management
• Warm, patient, and good with people (you’ll often be filming our team and guests)
• Interested in wellbeing, psychology or education (nice to have, not essential)
