The Role

We are looking for Event Stewards and Photographers/Videographers to join our freelance team.

, offering a variety of work that keeps things fresh and challenging.

As an Event Attendant, you will:

• Collect equipment from our office in Egham and transport it to the event venue.
• Effortlessly set up and dismantle our high-tech photo booths and event equipment.
• Engage with guests, guiding them through the experience and ensuring they have a fantastic time.
• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Smile Events with a professional, enthusiastic, and client-focused approach.
• Quickly troubleshoot any technical issues with remote support from our team.

As a Photographer/Videographer, you will:

• Capture key moments at events, including corporate headshots, red-carpet arrivals, speeches, and more.
• Collaborate with clients on-site to meet their needs and vision.
• Deliver professionally edited photos and videos within agreed-upon timelines.

Important Note for All Applicants: Our core business is providing top-tier photo booth and event experiences (full training provided).
The majority of your work will be as an Event Attendant. While we do offer event photography and videography services,
these assignments are exclusively given to our most reliable and trusted team members who have proven their commitment to the Event Attendant role. If you are a photographer or videographer, you will need to demonstrate your skills and reliability as an Event Attendant first to be considered for this work.

What We're Looking For

We need smart, reliable, and dedicated professionals who are:

• A "people person." You're great at making people feel comfortable and can manage a crowd with a smile.
• Switched-on and tech-savvy. You're quick to learn new technology and can think on your feet.
• Punctual and dependable. Events can't wait. You understand the importance of being on time and prepared.
• Driven and have a vehicle.
  You must have a full UK driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle capable of transporting equipment. This is a non-negotiable requirement.

Schedule, Pay, and Training

• Pay: Competitive rates are offered. Event Attendant roles typically pay £90-£180 per event, with additional compensation for travel and expenses. Photographer/Videographer rates are negotiated per event.
• Hours: Flexible and on a freelance basis. The majority of our events take place in the evenings and on weekends. You choose which events you want to take on.
• Training: Full, hands-on training on all our equipment and processes will be provided.

Note on Training: Our initial training and shadowing process is part of our final interview stage and is unpaid. This allows us to assess your suitability for the role while ensuring you fully understand the requirements.
