Art Consultant – Senior Consultant at Jackson Rose

We are seeking an exceptional Art Consultant to join one of London's premier art galleries, situated in the heart of the capital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with distinguished collectors, curators, and artists while shaping the gallery's continued growth and success.

Position Overview

Join our client’s dynamic team as an Art Consultant, where you’ll cultivate and manage relationships with collectors, provide expert guidance on acquisitions, and contribute to our gallery’s prestigious standing in the international art market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high‑net‑worth collectors and art enthusiasts
  • Provide detailed consultation on artwork selection, acquisition, and collection development
  • Represent the gallery at international art fairs and client events
  • Collaborate with our curatorial team on exhibition planning and artist liaison
  • Create tailored presentations and proposals for private and institutional clients
  • Contribute to the gallery's sales strategy and market positioning
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in either:
    Fine art sales and gallery management
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Extensive knowledge of market trends
  • Strong network within the art world or luxury sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
Working Pattern
  • 5 days per week on a shift pattern
  • Includes some evening events and weekend work
