Job Description & How to Apply Below

Sheffield Cathedral stands at the heart of the city as both an iconic Christian landmark and a living center of prayer, worship and mission. Guided by our commitment to be 'A Place for All People', the Cathedral is investing in new forms of sacramental mission across the Diocese of Sheffield. The Community of St Paulinus (CsP) is a pioneering community focused on resourcing sacramental church planting, forming disciples and strengthening partnerships across the Diocese.

As CsP prepares for its public launch, we are seeking an outstanding Digital Content Creator & Designer to establish its digital presence from the ground up. Working from a new visual identity and communications approach currently being developed by an external creative agency, the successful candidate will implement that vision through engaging storytelling, photography, video, graphic design and social media.

Alongside supporting the launch of CsP, the role will provide creative support to partner churches across the Diocese, helping communicate stories of renewal, refresh websites, establish digital platforms, including social media, and support new worshipping communities through high-quality communications and design.

£13,700 for a six-month fixed-term contract (30 hours per week).

Contract & Working Pattern
  • 30 hours per week with flexibility by agreement.
  • Hybrid working based at Sheffield Cathedral with travel to partner churches.
  • Occasional evening and weekend working will be required.
  • Review towards the end of the contract with the possibility of extension or a permanent appointment, subject to funding and organisational need.
