We are looking to appoint a whole time Specialist Doctor in (Clinical/ Medical
-Lower GI /Gynae) Oncology at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, with outreach clinics within the SYBND cancer alliance.

This is a fixed term post for 18 months. Applications from both Medical and Clinical Oncologists are welcome. This post is based at Weston Park Cancer Centre and also provides input into our outreach off site breast oncology clinic. Any candidate who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the posts; if such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with the Clinical Director.

Please be advised that the interview for this post has been arranged for 11th March 2026. Should there be any potential changes, you will be informed in due course. The deadline for submitting your portfolio for review prior to the interview is 3rd March 2026 Midnight.

The appointee will, together with senior colleagues (at both Consultant grade and other Specialist Grades) be responsible for the provision of cancer services across the trust. The main focus of interest will be in Lower GI Cancer and Gynaecological Cancer.

The successful candidate will work according to the Terms and Conditions of Service for Specialist (England) 2021 as amended from time to time.
