Nursery Assistant

The Role

As a Nursery Assistant, you will support qualified practitioners in delivering high-quality care and education to young children. You will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children feel happy and supported.

Key Responsibilities

Support children with play, learning, and daily routines
Assist with setting up activities and maintaining a stimulating environment
Encourage positive behaviour and social development
Help ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children
Work collaboratively with nursery staff and Teacher Active consultants
Requirements

Previous experience working with children (nursery or early years setting preferred)
A caring, patient, and positive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
