Milk Education are seeking a creative, committed, and resilient Art Teacher to join a dedicated department in a Secondary school in South Yorkshire. The role will involve teaching KS3 and KS4 Art, with the expectation of planning and delivering engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons that inspire creativity and develop students’ artistic skills. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with the opportunity to become permanent if successful.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Art lessons in line with the national curriculum

Encourage creativity and self-expression through a range of artistic techniques and media

Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment

Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly

Collaborate with school staff to ensure effective learning outcomes

Uphold the values and standards of Milk Education and our partner schools

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Specialism in Art – able to teach KS3 and KS4

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Milk Education)
