Cover Supervisor

This role is perfect for experienced Cover Supervisors, HLTAs (Higher Level Teaching Assistants), or unqualified teachers looking to broaden their classroom experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with the possibility of covering Key Stage 5 also).
• Maintain classroom control, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
• Support students of varying abilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, following school policies and encouraging participation.
• Build leadership and classroom management skills, gaining valuable teaching experience.

What We Are Looking For:

• Passionate individuals with experience working with young people in an educational setting in the UK.
• Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills.
• Confidence to manage a classroom and deliver lesson content.

Requirements:

• UK residents only – you must have the right to work in the UK.
• Experience of working in education settings in the UK - ESSENTIAL.
• A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this role.
