SEND Teacher Opportunity – Immediate Start in Sheffield

Position: SEND Teacher
Location: Sheffield
Start Date: Immediate
Hours: 08:30 – 16:00
Salary: £160 - £220 per day
Contract Type: Full-time, with long-term potential

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with school policies and schemes of work.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to support students’ academic progress.
  • Foster a positive learning environment by building effective relationships with students and Teaching Assistants.
  • Actively participate in departmental and staff meetings to collaborate and share best practices.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with SEND experience
  • An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service.
  • Experience or understanding of SEN is advantageous.
  • Proven classroom management skills, with a proactive approach to creating an inclusive classroom.
  • Ability to differentiate lessons for students of varying abilities and needs.
  • Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude towards student growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
