The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment where behaviour, relationships, and learning go hand in hand. Staff work closely together to ensure consistency, clear boundaries, and positive outcomes for students who require a more tailored approach to education.

As an SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons while supporting pupils with complex emotional and behavioural needs. You will play a key role in helping students re‑engage with education and develop both academically and socially.

• Plan and deliver lessons suited to pupils with SEMH needs
• Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Support pupils’ academic, emotional, and social development
• Work closely with support staff, SEN teams, and leadership

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with pupils
• A calm, consistent, and resilient approach
