As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the classroom — supporting both teachers and pupils to ensure every child has the best possible start to their learning journey. Your day might include:

• Working 1:1 or in small groups to support learning activities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a nurturing learning environment.
• Supporting children with phonics, reading, maths and creative subjects.
• Assisting the class teacher in preparing engaging resources and displays.
• Helping pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.

You'll be joining a friendly, community-focused primary school that truly values its staff and celebrates every achievement.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children in a school or educational setting (voluntary or paid).
• Is patient, approachable and full of enthusiasm for learning.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and use their initiative.
• Has excellent communication skills and a caring nature.
• Holds (or is willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification would be an advantage, but it's your passion and commitment that really count.
