Pay: £460 £ 650 per week

Are you a reliable and organised individual looking to work in schools across Sheffield? A local school is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to manage classrooms, support learning, and ensure continuity in the absence of teaching staff.

The school provides a supportive and structured environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Staff work collaboratively to maintain a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes, following lesson plans, and ensuring students remain on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain classroom experience and support teaching staff in a variety of subjects.

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher
• Follow lesson plans and maintain classroom engagement
• Support students behaviour and wellbeing
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups

• Experience working in schools or with children is desirable but not essential
• Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
• Reliable, adaptable, and professional approach
• An up-to-date CV and enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
