Youth Assistant

Overview

We’re looking for a Youth Assistant to join us as a core member of the Rivelin Co team for 4 hours per week, to support coordination and delivery of our vibrant youth programme in Hillsborough and North Sheffield.

During term time you’ll support a lead facilitator at our weekly creative youth club Young Creatives for 11–16s, and during school holidays you’ll support a wide range of events and activities for young people of all ages including theatre shows, film screenings, craft activities, seasonal discos, outdoor sessions and more!

You’ll be responsible for helping to set up and pack down spaces, welcoming people, coordinating refreshments, and supporting with activities and conversations during the sessions. You’ll work with young people with varying access needs and lived experiences.

Sheffield

£13.45 per hour

Part Time

Contracted 4 hours per week. Occasional extra hours offered at the same rate of pay.

• Safeguarding training (Level
  3)
• First aid training (if not already held)
• An induction to Rivelin Co values, policies and working practices
• Shadowing opportunities with experienced facilitators and artists.
• Ongoing supervision and support from the Neighbourhood Producer(Youth)
