GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to work within secondary schools across the S2 and S3 postcodes. This role is ideal for someone who can simplify complex concepts and support pupils in building confidence with numbers.

As a Mathematics Teacher
, you will contribute to high-quality learning by planning structured lessons, supporting student progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and consistently.

• Teach maths across Key Stages with well-planned, accessible lessons.
• Support students in developing problem-solving skills and mathematical understanding.
• Provide constructive feedback to help pupils improve their performance.
• Use effective behaviour management strategies to create a focused learning space.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum discussions.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering as a Maths Teacher

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A commitment to supporting students of varying abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• A professional and proactive approach to safeguarding and school procedures.
