• Prior experience working with secondary school-aged young people (e.g., in a paid or voluntary capacity).
• A genuine passion for supporting young people's learning and development.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one).

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proactive and resilient approach to challenges.
• Flexibility to cover a wide range of subjects.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

• Supervising pre-set work across various subjects and year groups.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and adhering to the school's policy.
• Ensuring students remain focused on their tasks and complete the work set.
• Promoting a positive and productive learning environment at all times.
• Responding to any immediate issues or emergencies that arise during the lesson.
• Explaining tasks and instructions clearly to students.
• Collecting completed student work and returning it to the appropriate department.
• Reporting any significant behaviour issues or concerns to the relevant staff member.
• Maintaining high professional standards and confidentiality.
• Supporting the overall daily operation of the school by being flexible and reliable.
