GSL Education are looking for a capable Cover Supervisor (CS) - Mathematics for schools across Sheffield
, supporting students to stay focused and productive during teacher absence.

This Cover Supervisor - Maths position involves overseeing maths-based activities already prepared by teaching staff, guiding pupils through tasks, and maintaining an orderly and respectful environment for learning.

• Oversee maths lessons and ensure pupils follow the provided instructions.
• Encourage participation and independent work throughout the session.
• Address low-level disruption promptly and professionally.
• Provide brief updates to staff on how the lesson progressed.
• Uphold school policies and expectations at all times.

• Background working with young people in schools or similar settings.
• Comfortable supporting learners with numerical and problem-solving activities.
• Clear communication skills and a calm, authoritative presence.
• Reliable, adaptable, and organised in managing classroom situations.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or prepared to obtain one.
