SEND Teaching Assistant - Sheffield ASAP Start Salary: £89 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)

Teacher Active are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in special schools across Sheffield
. We work with a wide range of schools, from EYFS to Post-16 years, working with students who have been diagnosed with SEND (Autism, MLD, PMLD and SEMH).

We have a range of roles to cover day-to-day, short-term
, and long-term placements supporting children with their education. This is a great chance to gain lots of experience to add to your profile and keep every day exciting.

The ideal Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• A minimum of 6 months’ SEND experience (schools/care/support work considered)
• A calm, patient and caring personality
• Good behaviour management skills
• Excellent understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with support on a 1:1 and a small group basis
