1:1 Teaching Assistant
Full Time, TTO, 1:1 Teaching Assistant – King Henry VIII Junior School
35 hours per week (08.30am until 4pm) for 37 weeks per year, temporary contract, reviewed annually.
Salary: £22,635 FTE Actual: £17,798
Responsibilities- Support the social and emotional growth and academic progress of a Year 4 pupil with ASD on a 1:1 basis and within in-class activities.
- Support the pupil during transition times and in general classroom settings.

QualificationsThe successful candidate will be qualified to at least GCSE level (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Ideally you will have previous experience of working with students with similar needs. However, if you have a personal connection or real-life experience of working with people with Autism in a different setting then we would be really keen to hear from you.
