Salary (Full Time)
Grade 5 – £26,403.00 for 30 hours per week for 45.8 weeks per annum equating to £18,804.74 pro rata.
We are offering an exciting opportunity at Haverfordwest High VC School for a full‑time Trauma‑Informed Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will support identified pupils who have experienced significant trauma. They will deliver sessions through activities that enable pupils to identify their responses to events and adapt behaviours in order to effectively access the curriculum.
Responsibilities- Support pupils identified as having experienced significant trauma.
- Deliver sessions through activities to enable pupils to identify responses to events.
- Adapt pupils’ behaviours to allow effective access to the curriculum.
- A good standard of education, knowledge of children/young peoples’ needs and rights, and experience of working with children.
- Desire, determination and skills to meet the significant challenges of the role.
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
- DBS disclosure check.
- Right to work in the UK (UK visa status).
- Welsh language skills desirable; applications may be submitted in Welsh.
