Aboutthe Role
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with additional needs. You will help create an inclusive learning environment that enables pupils to access the curriculum, develop key skills, and achieve their individual goals.
Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEN, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development within the classroom setting.
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalised support strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and SENCOs.
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment at all times.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
- A good understanding of different Special Educational Needs and support strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Requirements- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
