We are seeking an Education Business Manager to oversee the operational and financial management of a successful nursery. If you have experience working in the UK childcare sector and a background in business management, this is the perfect opportunity for you to combine your leadership and organisational skills with your passion for early years education.

• Manage the day-to-day business operations of the nursery, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant UK regulations and quality standards, including Ofsted requirements.

• Develop and implement business strategies that support the nursery’s growth and sustainability.

• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and professional development to ensure a high-quality, motivated team.

• Manage relationships with parents, external stakeholders, and suppliers.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursery, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.

• Develop marketing and communications strategies to promote the nursery’s services and attract new families.

• Proven experience as an Education Business Manager, Nursery Manager, or similar role within the UK childcare sector.

• Strong understanding of early years education, UK childcare regulations, and Ofsted inspection criteria.

• Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage teams and build relationships.

• Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement.

• Relevant qualifications in business management or early years education (e.g., Level 3 or 4 in Early Years Education, Business Management degree, or equivalent).

• Competitive salary of £42,000 – £45,000 per year.
