Location: UK, Remote with Occasional Domestic Travel

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £49,500 (Dependent on Experience)

We're seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Academic with a genuine interest in assessment design and quality, a specialist area that sits at the heart of this role. You'll play a key part in ensuring our assessments are robust, scalable and aligned with sector expectations, while working collaboratively with centres, subject experts and internal teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, high-impact team where your leadership will help shape systems, processes and people as we continue to grow.

What you'll do
  • Lead training and support for Delivery Centres on assessment, standards and qualification delivery
  • Manage assessment writers, moderators and subject matter experts, from recruitment to workload planning and development
  • Strengthen and scale assessment design processes to support rapid organisational growth
  • Build strong partnerships with centres to ensure clarity, compliance and a high‑quality student experience
  • Oversee quality activities including action plans, reviews, audits and committees
  • Contribute to qualification development aligned with strategic priorities
  • Coordinate projects across diverse stakeholder groups globally
  • Support continuous improvement and academic consistency across centres
What you'll bring
  • Strong expertise in assessment design, academic quality or qualifications (HE or international education desirable)
  • Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Experience leading or mentoring academic specialists or external experts
  • A collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills
  • Confidence working in a fast‑moving, scaling environment
