Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:45pm
Contract:
Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £90 - £110 per day
Career Teachers are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN hub in the S36 area of Sheffield. This role involves supporting pupils aged 11-13 years with a variety of SEN and SEMH needs and begins ASAP.
About the Role
You will:
Provide supportive 1:1 and small group interventions
Help pupils regulate emotions and engage successfully in learning
Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN specialists
Support pupils with mixed learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing environment
What We're Looking For
Background in SEN or SEMH is desirable
Patience, resilience, and a positive approach
Strong relationship-building skills
Passion for inclusion and supporting pupil well-being
