Career Teachers are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher for a welcoming primary school in the S20 area of Sheffield. This is a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year and beyond.

🌟 About the Role

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting children at the beginning of their learning journey. You will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
Create a nurturing, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
Track pupil progress and maintain accurate records
Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
Foster curiosity, independence, and a love of learning

🎓 Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Early Years / Reception (preferred but not essential)
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A passionate, child-centered teaching approach
Ability to adapt, be proactive, and work as part of a team
A valid DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
