Contract: Full‑Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)

Role OverviewWe are currently seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BSc (Hons) Construction Management programme. Our delivery model requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess all student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
- Develop, update, and improve course materials.
- Use a variety of learning and teaching methods and materials.
- Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings, and other administrative duties.
- Keep up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
- Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction, and progression.
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject area;
PhD desirable. - Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Experience supervising student work and providing feedback.
- Experience in accurate reporting and maintaining thorough student records.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team‑working skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probationary period and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
- Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
- 25 days annual leave, plus 8 public holidays.
