. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering a chance to inspire and engage students in the study of English Language and Literature.

As an English Teacher
, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills. You will plan and assess lessons effectively, ensuring all students are supported in their learning while fostering a positive classroom environment.

• Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
• Differentiate lessons to support the needs of all learners.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to enhance student learning.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A degree in English or a related field.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 English in a UK secondary school.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service

• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
