Teaching English as a foreign language to international students, aged 12‑18. Responsible for the welfare and safeguarding of all students in the classroom and any other activity if necessary.
PurposeTo teach English to junior students following a syllabus and using materials provided by the school.
Teaching- Prepare and deliver suitable lessons using the supplied teaching materials and adapt materials to suit students’ needs and abilities.
- Deliver lessons with the aim of achieving the objectives of the syllabus and to the standards set out by the DoS/Senior Teacher and outlined at the training day.
- Keep all academic admin and paperwork up to date, including attendance registers, lesson plans and Records of Work.
- Arrive on site 20 minutes before the scheduled lesson start time and be available for 10 minutes at the end of lessons whenever necessary.
