EYFS Teaching Assistant – Lower Meadow Primary Academy – 21 hours per week – Wednesday, Thursday & Friday – Salary: £12,728 - £13,137 (pro rata) – Closing date: 14th June

• Support children’s learning and development through engaging, play‑based activities
• Provide tailored support to individuals and small groups to help them progress
• Foster positive relationships and act as a role model for behaviour and communication
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of EYFS activities alongside the class teacher
• Observe and share insights into children’s progress, development, and wellbeing
• Support daily routines, including transitions and personal care where needed
• Promote positive behaviour, independence, and confidence in all pupils

• A caring and patient individual with a genuine passion for working with young children
• Understanding of child development within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Willingness to support all pupils, including those with additional needs
• Organised and able to contribute to a well‑managed classroom environment
