£90–£110 per day, depending on experience and role

About the Role

We are looking to speak with Teaching Assistants and Support Staff across the North East.

We have upcoming supply, short-term and longer-term opportunities. These may be within primary schools, SEND provisions and specialist education settings.

These roles would suit people with the right personality and a caring approach. You may have classroom experience, care experience, or experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable individuals.

We would be happy to speak with experienced Teaching Assistants, SEND support workers, care workers, youth workers and residential support workers. We also welcome candidates with transferable experience.

The Role May Involve
  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1, small group or whole-class basis
  • Helping pupils engage with learning, routines and classroom activities
  • Supporting children and young people with additional needs
  • Working closely with teachers, support staff and pastoral teams
  • Helping to create a safe, positive and inclusive environment
  • Supporting pupils with communication, confidence and engagement
Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A caring, patient and reliable approach
  • A positive attitude
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong communication skillsli>
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Previous SEND, SEMH, autism, care, education, or youth work experience would be beneficial
  • Relevant qualifications would be beneficial, but are not essential
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one
