You will have expertise in Orthoptic practice and or research and related teaching experience and be committed to student engagement, student recruitment and student support.

  • Actively contribute to the collective vision, mission and values of the University through individual action and inclusive, collaborative working
  • Consistently take responsibility for outcomes, provide support to others and make inclusive decisions which together have a demonstrable positive impact within the School
  • Constructively challenge established practice, structure and process in order to bring about positive change and improved outcomes
  • Make ethical decisions in your role, embedding the University sustainability strategy into your working activities wherever possible
  • Plan and prioritise your own daily research, teaching and administrative tasks as well as participate in longer term planning through contribution to policy development
  • Carry out other duties, commensurate with the grade and remit of the post
