Teaching Assistant Sheffield
Location: Sheffield and surrounding areas
Contract type: Agency, Full-time, term-time only
Pay: £93 £ 107 per day
Right Education are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our network of supportive primary schools across Sheffield for September starts.
We're working with a number of schools looking to secure reliable support staff ahead of the new academic year. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with both long‑term and ongoing placements available.
What you'll be doing- Providing 1:1 and small group support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Assisting pupils with additional or special educational needs
- Supporting class routines, transitions and learning activities
- Helping teachers maintain an organised, positive classroom environment
- Encouraging pupil engagement and confidence in their learning
- Experience in schools or transferable experience from youth work, care or coaching
- Reliability, patience and a nurturing attitude
- Ability to follow direction and use initiative
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to support across different school settings where needed
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Two relevant references
- Right to work in the UK
