SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and adapting materials to meet individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well‑being.
• Support pupils with personal care and mobility where required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

• Previous experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
• Patient, empathetic and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive manner.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are advantageous.

A devoted South Yorkshire consultant offering ongoing support through work, competitive daily rates paid weekly via PAYE and potential to go temp‑to‑perm from excellent performance. Access to free CPD and various relevant training courses, with options to suit full‑time, part‑time or flexible working. All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
