Maths Teacher
Career Teachers is working in partnership with a successful and forward‑looking secondary school to recruit a qualified Maths Teacher for a September start. This exciting opportunity is ideal for an ECT or an experienced teacher looking to join a supportive school that values high‑quality teaching and long‑term staff development.
The school is taking a measured and thoughtful approach to recruitment and will be interviewing candidates across this term and next to ensure the right appointment is made.
Role Overview- Role: Teacher of Mathematics
- Key Stages: KS3 & KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
- Start Date: September
- Contract: Full‑time (long‑term or permanent opportunities available)
- Pay: Competitive rates, in line with experience and role type
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Support pupils of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress effectively
- Contribute positively to the Maths department and wider school community
- QTS / PGCE (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references covering the last three years
