About the Intervention Specialist RoleReeson Education is recruiting a skilled Intervention Specialist for a supportive and inclusive school in Sheffield (S2). This role is ideal for an experienced education professional who can deliver targeted interventions, raise attainment, and support pupils who require additional academic or pastoral assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Targeted Intervention Delivery: Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group interventions to support pupil progress.
- Learning Gap Identification: Identify learning gaps and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Confidence & Engagement Development: Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.
- Progress Monitoring & Assessment: Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
- Collaborative Support Planning: Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external professionals to support individual learning plans.
- Previous experience working within an educational setting, ideally delivering interventions or targeted support.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A patient, adaptable, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
- Competitive daily rate of £95-£130, depending on experience.
