History Teacher – Sheffield

Career Teachers are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a secondary school in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through engaging History lessons and help develop their understanding of key historical events, cultures, and societies. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to further their career within secondary education.

As a History Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Encourage students to develop critical thinking, analytical, and research skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the humanities.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

• Competitive daily rates of £150 – £240 per day
