Salary: NJC 12-17: £23,164 – £24,319 (actual salary) | £28,598 – £30,024 (FTE) + well‑being cash plan + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits

Cover Supervisor – responsible for teaching and supervising classes during both planned and unplanned teacher absences, ensuring continuity of learning across all subjects. Duties include maintaining a calm and focused classroom environment and contributing to student achievement and progression.

• Teach and support classes during planned and unplanned absences.
• Maintain a calm, focused classroom to support uninterrupted learning.
• Ensure student progress and engagement across the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support inclusive practices and student welfare.

• Knowledge of a range of strategies for whole‑class and individual behaviour management.
• Level 2 qualifications – GCSE Maths and English (Grade
  4) or equivalent.
• A university degree or equivalent level of qualification (level
  6).
• Experience of working with children and young people.
• Ability to build positive relationships with all students.
