35 or 37 Hours per week, 39 weeks per year

We are looking for an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our SEND Department. The role involves working in a team with subject teachers to deliver interventions that support academic, social, communication and emotional regulation skills for pupils with SEND.

• Work effectively with subject teachers in lessons to enable pupils to access learning and make good progress.
• Deliver high quality interventions for small groups and individuals.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff showing care, patience, empathy and encouragement.
• Support pupils' safety and well‑being.
• Adapt to changing situations and learn new skills as required.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Experience working with young people with SEND.
• Ability to work using own initiative and a positive, resilient mindset.
• Strong communication skills and ability to relate positively to children and adults.
• Commitment to ensuring the safety of our pupils, aligned with the school and department values.
