Level 2 Teaching Assistant

• Supporting pupils with their learning across the curriculum
• Delivering small‑group and one‑to‑one interventions, particularly for children with SEND, EAL, or additional needs
• Promoting independence and positive behaviour
• Preparing engaging resources and supporting lesson delivery
• Monitoring progress and contributing to classroom planning
• Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Being an advocate for every child’s well‑being and success

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience of working with young people, ideally within a school setting
• Acaring, patient, and proactive attitude
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and a passion for supporting children
• Additional training or experience in SEND, EAL, behaviour support, or first aid (desirable)
• Confidence in using digital learning tools (e.g. Microsoft Teams)
• The ability to support learning across a range of subjects
