The Opportunity

We’re looking for an inspiring Lecturer in Engineering to join our dedicated teaching team. This role is ideal for someone who loves their subject, enjoys motivating learners, has a mechanical bias background, and wants to be part of a collaborative and forward‑thinking learning environment.

You will deliver high‑quality teaching across a range of modules, using creative and engaging approaches to bring your subject to life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning in scheduled classes
  • Prepare engaging lesson plans, resources and digital content
  • Design assessments and provide timely feedback
  • Support and track student progress, ensuring all learners thrive
  • Contribute to curriculum development and course reviews
  • Participate in internal meetings, quality processes and CPD
  • Maintain accurate records and meet administrative deadlines
  • Model the College’s FREDIE+ values in all interactions
  • Support wider college activities, including open days, enrolment and exams
